what's wrong with her leg

at the last picture, her leg looks super skinny at the beginning, then goes normal. it looks as if it's just a bone with skin wrapped around it and then at the knee some fat is added. god if that isn't just the photo making it looked fucked up, then you should see wtf is wrong with it.

uh..

i'm not going to give you any high marks just because you use some semi-funny clip from the radio. It is NOT like putting music into a movie, because this would be nothing without the clip.

the graphics and animation suck, and thats all that matters when you just use other people's material.

uh no, this is just for fun. i didnt make the movie to then add the sound to it. i added the movie to the sound to enhance it. ok teh animation is crappy. but years ago wen i did this, this was wen i first started animation it was somethin for me to work with. I have not stolen anything. u have misunderstood me wen u sed putting music to a movie. its the other way round, puttin a movie to music. not everyone does it, but i have done so in the past, used a song and put a movie to it to visualise somethin that goes with the lyrics or wateva the sound is.
im gettin pissed off at ppl gettin the wrong idea about things.

Fucking awesome, great storyline and story telling techniques... plus it has really good animation, the lip syncing is very smooth (just like everything else)

like eliteafro said but..

yeah, stick figure movies are definatly getting old, but, theres just something a little different about this than other stick movies. I think it's the camera angles and such, like as he is running, the camera doesn't stay completely still it kind of bobs up and down, i liked this effect.

but the end where they just stared at each other was a little too long.
I also suggest for the next splitter arena and the ones following, don't make it too predictable of who will win. Do NOT use this formula 'winner of previous episode= loser in next episode', let a character win 2 episodes or 3.

YOU CAN ANIMATE SCRIBBLES IN THE BACKGROUND!!!! other than that, i don't see how people can think that this movie has better than average animation at all.

And rap just makes the movie seem even worse, especially when you are trying to write graffiti style and it looks super shitty.

what kind of college do you go to

Animation? if so, tell me how you like it, because i'm looking to getting into one myself.
the artwork was good in this movie, just that there wasn't much animation (mostly motion tweens), but i'm just a framebyframe kind of guy, so it could just be me, lol.

Um, just a regular college. I'm in England, btw, I dunno how the schooling system works on Monkey Island. =P

I would have liked to have done some frame-by-frame work, but by the time I got all my research and development done, I only had about four days to work on this. Really not long enough to go the long way round. Anyway, thanks for reviewing.

The graphics could be better

But then again, most flash comedy series on the internet are aiming for the writing more than the animation. It would take a lot longer if you guys spent the time animating smoothly instead of just using the same graphic symbols alot. I loved the seinfeld bit at the end, thats my favorite show on tv. You captured Jerry's voice and the way he talks pretty nicely, good job.

Yeah, TN has never been about animation so much. However, I'd really like to have much more. (Using the same graphic symbols is good practice, however ANIMATING them is prefered :-/ )
